It's long long ago story, someone said the Nian Monster usually came out during the last day of Lunar Year.
在很久很久以前,傳說年獸通常會在除夕夜的當晚出現~
The red was frightened the Nian Monster. That's why children got red envelope then Nian Monster kept them away.
聽說年獸最怕紅色了....所以孩子們在除夕團圓飯後,都會拿到紅包,這樣等年獸一出現,紅包就可讓年獸不敢靠近小孩們囉~
